On 3rd of December 1949 Gerhard Lueckenotto registered his new company by the Chamber of Commerce in Duesseldorf – Germany. The activity he announced was “Machines – Apparatus and Production of rubber goods for Trading and Industry”. The founder worked before his self-employment as a constructor and engineer in a big machine building company. |

Customers and Suppliers trusted the young company
soon because they saw in its owner a authority in rubber rollers.
The first office was oppened in Duesseldorf "am Paulusplatz". |

In the
following years the company Gerhard Lueckenotto named in its letter heads
“technical rubber goods, roll coverings, moulded rubber goods and rubber
belts. From the beginning the company showed its Logo – the big `L` in
combination with a roller and above the `L` the little `G`.

Toni Lueckenotto, the son, said : ” My father set up the tracks on which we
drive today.” |

|
Gerhard Lueckenotto was both, a hard worker and a vital and merry human. On the 10th anniversary of his company he celebrates a big party for his friends and for himself and he gained the success really of what he erected. |
