Protective sleeves

Protective sleeves are made of rubber and are produced on the mandrel. They are characterized by a high variability of the dimensions, the wall thickness, the hardnesses and the surfaces. Especially in regard to the surface quality, they distinguish themselves due to their ground structure.
There is no minimum order quantity for this solution.

The protective sleeves are an alternative to self-adhesive cork strips, rubber strips or “pimpled bands”.
They are used to achieve a nonslip or anti-adhesive surface.

The solution is very simple and, above all, time-saving!!!

The diameters of the sleeves are a few millimeters smaller than the guide rollers. Using compressed air, the thin sleeves expand and float on a cushion of air on the guide roller. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes.

The protective sleeves are available with the following properties, among others:

  • LURA 2006, electrically conductive, ozone resistant
  • LURA 2105/A, anti-adhesive, extremely nonslip
  • LURA 2101, temperature-resistant up to 240 °C
  • LURA 2527, abrasion- and cut- resistant
